Blue Flag Beaches
The Blue Flag can be found flying on a variety of beaches throughout the world. In 2010, over 2900 beaches in 41 countries were awarded the Blue Flag.
Flying the Blue Flag means that the beach meets high standards with respect to water quality, environmental management, environmental education, and safety and services.
